Foundation for Future Education
Over the years of teaching Practical Consciousness, many students have asked why these abilities are not taught to children in school. “I would be a completely different person if I had learned these methods as a child,” one of them said.
As a result, in the summer of 2016, we began putting together the Practical Consciousness program for children’s education. More than 150 Practical Consciousness alumni gathered to share their experience of using Practical Consciousness techniques and how they changed their lives. We began an in-depth discussion of how to use Practical Consciousness to benefit the wider society. Participants agreed during the two-day meeting that children could benefit greatly by learning skills such as consciously using awareness and releasing their emotions.
Innovative educational leaders demonstrated an interest in incorporating Practical Consciousness knowledge into their classrooms. Under the auspices of the Foundation for Future Education, pilot projects began teaching practical consciousness skills in cutting-edge Estonian schools in the fall of 2017.
The Foundation for Future Education seeks to improve the lives of children and adults by:
-
Increasing their personal sustainability.
-
Strengthening their ability to manage everyday life.
-
Improving their interpersonal and social skills.
This is to help assure that students and teachers are competent in both knowing and managing their inner worlds.
