Babaji Kriya Yoga USA Satsang-Webinar, @zoom
Led by: Babaji Kriya Yoga Acharya Ishwarananda
This Satsang is for students who have passed Babaji Kriya Yoga initiation with Ishwarananda in the USA. Please contact Marta-Kristi Põld for registration details. For other Ishwarananda’s students who have completed the Level I-III initiations of Babaji Kriya Yoga, there are monthly satsangs held at Lilleoru, Estonia with possibility to participate online.
The word satsang originates from Sanskrit, from the words sat, meaning “truth”, and sangha, meaning “company” or “association”, and literally translated means “an association of people seeking the truth”.
The purpose of satsang
These gatherings are for Kriya Yoga students to meet regularly, exchange experiences and share insights. Satsangs are led by the teacher, or Acharya, who will respond to any questions that have arisen over the course of practice, either through explanation or guided practice. For students, satsangs are a way to support the regular practice of Babaji Kriya Yoga and make these techniques an integral part of everyday life.
The generally recognized meaning of the Sanskrit word acharya is “one who teaches by example”. It is used in the Indian tradition to denote the master teachers or gurus with the highest level of experience. The word has several other connotations. Acharya is the one who knows without knowing. He is the one who helps the students. The task of the Acharya is to pass on the techniques of Babaji Kriya Yoga unaltered, to preserve authenticity. His task is also to ensure the students practice these techniques correctly. Satsangs are a way of performing these tasks.
Requirements for participation
The participants are required to have completed at least BKY Level 1 Initiation with Ishwarananda.
